Verdict
The three-year-old Coalpark can get one over on elder rivals Bolton Hall and Champain Sands, while Ballyhurry is a battle-hardened individual that is also capable of a bold bid. The last named has been a great servant to his connections and knows his way around here very well. He has won here five times in the past and will be waiting to pounce if there are any weaknesses in the rest. Champain Sands has shot up the weights after a series of good efforts this season. However, he has never won off a mark this high before and, despite his yard being in great form, he is likely to find at least one has his measure on these terms. Bolton Hall has also come good of late and should make a bold bid to shrug off his latest rise up the ratings. Richard Fahey's charge is still well treated on the best of his efforts and may be worth a saver if the odds permit. However, Coalpark has finally started to live up to his potential and, as Mark Johnston has a keen eye for spotting an opening to utilise an age allowance, we expect this son of Titus Livius to find the extra improvement when it really matters.
