Verdict
Kingdom Of Munster improved on his first run over timber when keeping on at the one pace behind Mark Twain at Catterick. That is the best form on offer here though Battle Honour, who was placed three times over a mile on the Flat, shaped with a bit of promise over this C&D last month and probably has more scope than Richard Fahey's gelding. A couple of newcomers catch the eye in this, however, with TAMANACO preferred to Patterning. The latter is lightly raced and won on the level in the French Provinces last year but Robert Walford's gelding, successful in a 1m2f handicap at Haydock in August, is more battle-hardened and the stable does well with its Flat converts.
