Blazing Heights ran better at Hamilton last month and has to be respected but he may struggle to give weight away all round so preference is for stable companion Rothesay Dancer, who gets the vote over Handsome Cross. The last mentioned ran an encouraging race on his reappearance at Beverley when admittedly having the pick of the draw and he has to be respected. Sandwith ran better at Carlisle last time but that was on a soft surface and he looks best watched unless the rain arrives. Tim Easterby has his team in good form at present and his runner Windjammer has been running creditably of late so he cannot be discounted but a better bet looks to be Rothesay Dancer. Jim Goldie's mare has shown gradual improvement of late, lost no caste in defeat behind Invincible Lad at Hamilton last time and she looks worth backing to go one better today.
