    Verdict

Maid Of Meft finally got off the mark at Newcastle last week, but she needed 2m to do so, and is worth taking on with GHUFA. He won four times last year and, with a run on the all-weather under his belt, Lydia Pearce's charge is fancied to take this off a 5lb lower mark than when scoring at Newbury last June. Los Nadis won over a longer trip here when last seen on the level and he's fit from hurdling, while Beneath continues to slip down the weights and could figure stepping back up in distance along with Ayr runner-up Valdan.
