        Verdict

        ANTARA won this a year ago on her reappearance and her first start for Godolphin when First City was well beaten. She has competed at a much higher level subsequently with her last four starts coming in Group 1's including a head second to the classy Stacelita at Deauville. She goes unpenalised, unlike a year ago, and should complete the double though Timepiece looks a formidable opponent. Henry Cecil's filly has only shown herself to be Listed class to date but ran very well on her comeback behind stablemate Midday in the Group 2 Middleton Stakes last month and is rated just 6lb behind the selection. Three-year-olds have a poor record in this but Sir Mark Prescott doesn't tilt at windmills so Clinical is one to keep an eye on. Silver Grey has some decent form but a poor strike-rate and is tried in blinkers for the first time.
