        Verdict

        ASLAN has been recruited from Tom Albertrani in the USA where he finished runner-up three times on Dirt. He's comfortably the highest rated here and should make a successful start to his UAE career. Sooth Al Ssalam has now been placed in nine of his 14 starts and was taking on better opposition when third last time though it was disappointing to see him beaten almost 10l. Arabian Skies was a long way behind in that latter race though should do better over this longer trip but the once promising Fa'Iz has gone backwards and as now had 31 starts without winning. Blue Army was a beaten favourite three times for Godolphin in the UK but Salvadori showed a bit of potential in two runs here last spring.
