Lakemilan had been threatening to win for some time before easily landing a Tramore maiden over the minimum. His earlier second was over this trip and, with an opening handicap mark of just 112, he looks to have been leniently treated. He should get into the action but HIGHLAND FLING arrives here having scored on the Flat on Thursday and, with his hurdles form entitling him to the greatest respect, he's taken to complete a quick double. Camlann ran on three successive days at the Galway Festival and Shark Hanlon's charge performed with credit so should carry his big weight into contention here. Charlie Stout was in fine form last winter and a couple of recent runs on the Flat will have put him straight while Getoutwhenyoucan, who had been chasing, is much better over hurdles as he showed when making most over the minimum at Ballinrobe. Crosshue Boy mixes hurdling and chasing but is more leniently treated over the bigger obstacles.
