Young Kate, Wilford Maverick and Binnion Bay look the three to concentrate on in this desperate affair and the vote is given to the last mentioned. The selection was well beaten when last seen out at Brighton but he does go well here and with Keiren Fallon booked for the ride it could be worth taking a chance on him to get his head in front. Young Kate rates as the obvious danger as she has been running well of late and her most recent effort when second behind Ballyrush at Southwell reads well in the context of this race. Wilford Maverick was a decent second behind Colloseum last time at Wolverhampton but all his best form is over a shorter trip and for that reason he is passed over. Nebraska City ran as though returning to form last time and is another to consider and for the winner we are happy to return to Binnion Bay.
