Divine White secures the most tentative of verdicts over Farne Island and Blu Manruna. Amanda Perrett¿s yard appear to have worked their way out of the poor form that they showed during the middle of the year, and with Kieren Fallon booked - the eye is immediately drawn to Divine White. The daughter of College Chapel showed well for a long way in a Doncaster nursery but this race is certainly not as strong as that one and she is entitled to go close on the form of her previous start at Lingfield. Farne Island has to be respected as he still in the care of Luca Cumani in spite of two ordinary racecourse starts. A backward type, he is yet to capture the imagination of the betting public but should be watched here nevertheless. Blu Manruna has earned a high BHB rating but his backers are warned that he is a horse with definite quirks. He can often be very slowly away in his races and will be seen doing his best work at the finish. Of the remainder, Mr Bilbo Baggins is a half-brother to useful miler John Ferneley and the hurdler, Intersky Falcon. His draw does not inspire confidence but market support most definitely would. Opal Warrior hails from a yard that has had a year to forget and is opposed. Fun Time is a cheaply bought daughter of Fraam. Divine White is still open to improvement and it is hoped that Kieren Fallon can galvanise a victory from her.
