Code Orange is taken to score in the opener with Poker Player, Stargazer Jim and Bamzooki rated as the main dangers. The selection hails from the John Gosden yard and she showed plenty of promise on her two starts last season. She was a hot favourite when last seen out and although she was narrowly beaten that day by Penkenna Princess, that rival has since won in group company so she should be too good for her rivals today. Stargazer Jim is nicely-bred and is interesting on his racecourse bow, so he is one to note in the market although he will have to be above average to beat our selection. Poker Player ran green but caught the eye coming home strongly after a slow start on his racecourse debut last year, so he is sure to come on for that run and may therefore be the one that gives our selection the most to do. Bamzooki showed promise on her debut and won't be inconvenienced by the slight step-up in trip today. However, Code Orange sets a good standard for the rest here and anything that beats her today will have to be quite useful.
