ORCHARD SUPREME disappointed backers at Epsom but looks worth another chance now switched back to his favoured surface, although with Lang Shining, Lucky Punt and Samarinda in opposition this is no easy task. Richard Hannon's charge has a fantastic strike-rate on artificial surfaces and comes out best at the weights here so with Richard Hughes back aboard we'll chance the horse over a trip that does stretch him. Lang Shining has found his level of late, goes well for Sophie Doyle and is unexposed on the surface so must be considered a threat along with Lucky Punt, although the latter is clearly at his best around Southwell. Samarinda is a course and distance winner who took care of our selection when last tried in this grade so completes the shortlist.
