Verdict
A poor contest gets proceedings underway but something has to win and the principles look to be Elvina, Pure Folly and Vittorioso and the tentative vote goes to Pure Folly. The three-year-old was a fair third behind Tag Team last time out she is sure to have come on for the run and a reproduction of that effort would make her hard to beat. Elvina rates the main danger on his fourth behind Scottish Exile however that was 61 days ago and he may just need the run. Vittorioso is another that could go well he was a fair third behind Smartstarprincess but he is more exposed than most and for that reason he is opposed. Of the remainder Cobalt Runner is from a shrewd yard that can ready a newcomer so is worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to Pure Folly.
