        Verdict

        A winner over 6f, Lincoln Spirit has placed over 7f in the past but has yet to race over this far. MANS NOT TROT looks a safer proposition given he won over today’s trip at Chelmsford in November and finished well ahead of the re-opposing Ainne when placed at Wolverhampton recently. Ahfad has yet to win and still looks high enough in the weights while Solveig's Song has struggled since scoring over track and trip in October and remains 4lb higher.
