Verdict
ASTROSPEED had been threatening to open his account before landing the odds over course and distance last month with a convincing three-length success. James Fanshawe’s charge is taken to defy a hike in the weights and go in again. Soar Above was beaten only a neck in a blanket finish over 6f here attempting to land a four-timer and is preferred to the returning Golden Nectar, having her first start since going close at Sandown last summer. Steal The Scene wasn’t beaten far at Wolverhampton last time but Cuttin' Edge, Full Intention and Pearl Spectre have all failed to threaten since last successful.
