Verdict
This is a wide open handicap in which Hey Presto, Point of Dispute and Pintle look to be the leading contenders and the nomination is given to Hey Presto. The selection was well beaten last time out, but that was in a better race than this and he had previously confirmed his well-being when a game winner in a Ladies' race at Ascot. A reproduction of that effort should suffice here and with conditions to suit he is taken to score. Point Of Dispute would be the one to beat on the pick of his form but he has been well below that level of form of late. He was disappointing last time but that was on a soft surface and providing the rain stays away he might be capable of a much better effort here. Pintle is a course and distance winner who has been involved in some pretty hot races of late. He is a consistent sort and it would be no surprise to see him make the frame. The rest will have to improve on recent form to trouble the principles and we will stick with Hey Presto as the one they have to beat.
