Boz is taken to continue his progression and maintain his unbeaten sequence, perhaps at the main expense of Safari Sundowner and King's Ransom. The trip is a slight cause of concern for the selection who also has his racefitness to prove tonight. His last four wins have come over a mile and a half and a mile six but the sequence did begin with victory here over ten furlongs. He's over two stone higher now but his improvement showed no sign of abating last term and his yard does brilliantly with this type of individual. Safari Sundowner is making equally rapid strides at present and he won so easily at Lingfield last time that he looks more than capable of being competitive from a 3lb higher mark. He has yet to score over a trip this far but he's in far better form now than when tackling this sort of distance in the past. King's Ransom is the other in-form runner in the race. This half-brother to the smart Hattan has been doing his recent winning at around a mile but he stays this far and should be a threat to all if running to the same level of form as he has shown over shorter. He looks worth taking on under his penalty though and Boz is taken to keep his supporters purring.
