Verdict

News Maker ran in a decent novice chase on debut and if Heather Dalton has him fit first time up; this out-and-out stayer looks the one that the rest all have to beat. Free To Run has been a credit to connections and is a course and distance winner. He has yet to win off such a high handicap mark but is nevertheless respected. Tribal Rule is up in grade after struggling in the mud North of the border. Sunshine Leader has something to prove at the trip while Master Club Royal comes here having missed an engagement in lesser grade on Boxing Day.
