Esprit De Midas ran a cracker when third in the Ayr Bronze Cup but his reward is a 4lb weight rise and it would be no surprise if sixth Layla's Hero turned the form around here. Goodwood scorer TAGULA NIGHT enjoys soft ground and is only 3lb higher here. With Fallon taking over the reins from an apprentice, Walter Swinburn's five-year-old may well be good enough to follow up here as Pontefract winner Misplaced Fortune has been less favourably treated and has never won on anything easier than good. Noverre To Go has more on his plate than when landing a Warwick seller, while both Thirteen Shivers and Whozthecat appear to have lost their way. Mass Rally has been running a lot better than recent form figures suggest, however, and can't be ignored.
