Albany can land the final race on the card for Lynda Ramsden and Jamie Spencer. Despite being eight pounds higher than for his course win on July 13, this is not a strong event and he can score again. Champion Lion has been disappointing this season after looking promising last year. It's possible he would not want the going to be too firm but, even so, cannot be dismissed in this company. Romil Star is on a winning mark based on All-weather form but has yet to score on the Flat on turf in this country. Hattington might well improve for the application of cheekpieces and might yet give the selection most to do. It would be foolish to rule out a Mark Johnston runner at this level, especially with Kevin Darley booked, so Celtic Style comes into it on that basis, but Constantine would need to get back to his two-ear-old form to play a part. Not a strong event, but Albany gets the nomination.
