In depth

Verdict

Most of these have been struggling for form but the unexposed AMBER STORM won a maiden at Musselburgh in good style. This extra furlong should suit and she gets the vote with further progress expected. Beverley winner Old Harbour was well beaten back at the same track last time but still has more scope than stable companion Masham Star while novice winner My Macho Man appeared not to stay the 1m2f at Beverley on his comeback. Tadaawol looks no nearer winning despite a slide down the weights but Kuwait Shield is back on a winning mark if rediscovering his form.
