Kirkby's Treasure, Mandarin Rocket and Kayadeen make the shortlist here, with Kirkby's Treasure taken to come out on top. Mayadeen doubled his winning tally with a game success here last time. He was driven out to score, and a six pound penalty could be prohibitive. The ground is also drying out, and that may leave him tapped for toe. Mandarin Rocket is six pounds better off for a half length beating by Mayadeen, and can be fancied to turn the tables. However, his overall form is modest, and he is still a maiden after thirteen attempts so is taken on. Kirkby's Treasure was fancied by his trainer to have a decent campaign, but he is yet to open his account this term. He was perhaps given too much to do at Musselburgh last time, weaving his way through to finish third, a good effort in the circumstances. He is racing off the same mark here and looks the best choice. Kirkby's Treasure can lead them home.
