Verdict
HATTANm was given a canny ride to win last time and is fancied to follow up here at the main expense of Templestern and Red Gala. Clive Brittain's record on the other all-weather tracks is pretty good, and in the cases of Southwell and Wolverhampton very profitable for punters, however he has only had the one winner so far from eighteen tries here at Great Leighs. That stat can improve here though as Hattan could win again. He hasn't always followed up his wins in the past but he has the ability and this company doesn't look the most demanding. His main rival may be recent Chester winner Red Gala but he has failed when upped in grade in the past and needs to prove that his improvement can continue. Templestern is a decent front-runner who makes his all-weather debut today and whilst he needs respect, he needs to get over a disappointing jaunt to Germany. Supersonic Dave tries the visor, whilst the others have plenty to find at these weights. A tight affair, however Hattan is taken to win again.
