Verdict

El Drama went close in the Group 1 Jebel Hatta at Meydan in March and a repeat effort should see him thereabouts at the finish again. Unbeaten last year, FRANCESCO CLEMENTE missed an engagement at Newmarket earlier in the month due to the soft ground but Group 1 entries suggest the Gosdens’ colt will prove up to this level. King Of Conquest continued his good progress with a handicap success at Newmarket but Phantom Flight has come up short in Listed races so far. Epic Poet is a Listed winner in France and debuts for new connections but Jack Darcy and Imperial Fighter have yet to win in Pattern company.
