Verdict

Connections of Captain Attridge were called in by the stewards last time after the gelding made steady late progress to claim third spot at Ludlow. He's going the right way over hurdles and is taken seriously. Juggernaut needs to improve on this return to action, whilst Moonlit Warrior takes the eye as an interesting hurdling recruit. A three-time winner on the level for Michael Bell, he will be a key player if transferring that level of ability to his new discipline. However, SPLASHING WAVE looks the one after just getting run out of things after travelling well on her hurdling debut. She was only beaten a length, will improve for the experience and handles forecast conditions.
