The Hannon yard is no stranger to winning this and THREAT is another with leading claims. He came up just short in the Coventry at Ascot when edging out third-placed Guildsman close home and is fancied to go one better in this. Golden Horde and Maxi Boy finished further behind in the Coventry with the former making more appeal today. Aidan O’Brien trained last year’s winner but King Neptune finished behind Guildsman in the July Stakes at Newmarket last time. Ryan Moore still prefers him to stablemate Royal Dornoch while novice winner Fleeting Prince tries his luck at this level and makes more appeal than stable companion Royal Commando. Misty Grey, Dream Shot and Symbolize were all beaten in Listed company last time and need to improve to get involved.
