Mark Johnston has a good record in this but Victory Command has something to prove over the distance and The Trader has yet to win a handicap and finished a long way behind Walkinthesand when the latter beat Korcho in this grade at Newmarket last month. Ryan Moore stays loyal to the Hannon colt and he can figure again, despite a 5lb rise. But SINJAARI failed to to stay the 1m4f at Ascot last time and was beaten only a short-head in a decent handicap over today’s trip at Newbury before that when ahead of previous winner Forest Of Dean. William Haggas’ charge has every chance on that form. Stablemate Dalaalaat was less than convincing on an earlier attempt over today’s trip but has won over a mile subsequently while Fox Premier has something to prove at this level and Almania is preferred dropping back down in distance. Irish raider Wargrave has only won a maiden so far and Coolagh Forest is upped in class and trip.
