Verdict
Foxhunters' also-ran Bright Approach can bounce back to form over Lordberniebouffant and a host of recent point winners, including Martha's Boy, Splash And Dash and Ronan's Choice. Bright Approach has taken on the top hunters in the past and was second at last year's Cheltenham Festival. Although only seventh to Earthmover in this year's renewal, Jack Cann's 11-year-old should still be up to the task against this opposition. Lordberniebouffant was fairly useful under rules a few years ago, and will be a threat on his close second to Parade Racer at Corbridge recently. The latter ran very well at Kelso on Monday to advertise the form. Martha's Boy has been in good form between the flags, including on his latest start at Higham where he absolutely bolted up. Splash And Dash scored at Parham recently but has it to do over the regulation fences with Bright Approach on a line through running behind Earthmover here in February. Ronan's Choice had a dismal record when last seen under rules but is another that has found his level in point-to-points, having won at Bishop's Court. The one to be with though is Bright Approach.
