In depth

Verdict

Romany Nights, Imperial Echo and Kingscross look the three against the field here with the strong vote going to the last named. A winner a Haydock last time out when getting the better of Pomfret Lad Kingscross comes here in great heart and being the only horse with recent winning form he is taken to follow up. Of his rivals Romany Nights will pose as the greatest danger as his Newmarket win on his penultimate run reads well and he was not disgraced last time out when fourth over the same track so is worth noting. As is Imperial Echo who has shown ability this season but is inconsistent so is one to treat with caution. So for the winner we return to Kingscross.
