My Galliano, Shiny Thing and Free Style look the main contenders here but the vote goes to the last named. Free Style has been in fantastic form this season with two wins at Lingfield to boast. His all weather form does look better than his turf form but if able to translate his most recent form he has to go close so is therefore worth staying on the right side of. My Galliano is getting no younger at the age of nine but he came good last time out at Epsom when getting the better of Barking Mad. The fact is though that he beat moderate horses that day and this will be tougher for him. Shiny Thing looks more interesting as he has shown he handles a track like this by winning at Brighton on his penultimate start and was not disgraced last time out when third behind Caribbean Dancer at Yarmouth so is one very much to consider. But for the winner we return to Free Style.
