CRACKOVIA (NAP) has a penalty to contend with but was always controlling the Beverley maiden she landed with something to spare last month. She had previously come home to great effect on racecourse debut at Chelmsford and sets the standard of those with experience by some way as neither Passing Storm nor Bella Kopella made any impression on debut. The three newcomers need looking at in the betting with Mother India taken as next best for Alice Haynes, although any juvenile run by Karl Burke needs taking seriously which brings Novakai into the argument. Ed Dunlop's Gilded Moon needs keeping on the right side too as the yard enjoyed a two-year-old winner earlier in the week and is having its best season for a number of years.
