Byerley Bear didn't make the expected progress after a very promising debut over fences and may have been affected by his fall at Wexford where he may have beaten Donnas Palm had he stood up. Rayhani has run a couple of very good races but is still a maiden over fences after a dozen starts so it's GIMLI'S ROCK who is taken to make a winning debut over the bigger obstacles. Jessica Harrington's charge has always competed at a high level over hurdles and is rated 135. He's been found a decent opportunity to start his new career with a victory. American Job once looked potentially useful and is another having his first start over fences though he may just need another run as he was beaten a long way over timber at Wexford last month, his first start for two years.
