Although CONCRETE AND CLAY went up 6lb for scoring at Gowran in January and is another 2lb higher here he has run two fine races in better class than this at Leopardstown subsequently and can return to winning ways. Fourth Class won a maiden hurdle in good style at Thurles before a poor run when strongly fancied over fences at Wexford. Back over timber he can give a good account. In A Nutshell was very consistent last summer and the fact that he's not had a run since October is rarely a problem for one from this stable, especially if the market speaks in his favour. Saint Gervais looks the main threat, however, as this dual bumper winner has taken very well to hurdling and easily gained his maiden success at Clonmel. He makes his handicap debut from a potentially low mark and looks certain to get competitive.
