Verdict

Rip Rocks Paddy Ok out-ran big odds when sixth at Punchestown on New Year’s Eve but hasn’t been seen since and it will be a surprise if this maiden doesn’t produce a first victory for TOUCH OF OSCAR. Joseph O’Brien’s five-year-old is heading in the right direction and was only beaten half-a-length at Kilbeggan last month in a much stronger heat. Game Present, second in a maiden point at Boulta in December, probably has a future but newcomers Grouse Hall and Market Parade have chasing pedigrees.
