Verdict
Mister Manduro ran in the Queen’s Vase as a three-year-old but managed just one run for Brian Ellison last year and is now with Ann Hamilton. He didn’t get far on his hurdling bow and is best watched for now. Ventura Dragon won three times on the Flat and has travelled up from Lambourn but WILHELM VONVENSTER, though only fourth when odds-on for a Newcastle bumper in November, will have had plenty of schooling and can make a winning start over timber.
