GRIZZEL carries a 7lb penalty for an earlier success at Beverley but has improved since then and edges today’s opposition at the weights. This is easier than her latest task in the Sweet Solaria at Newmarket and she is preferred to the less exposed Partitia. The latter won a maiden at Newbury a week ago and may improve past Camargue in this. Tom Dascombe runs two with jockey bookings suggesting Kachess is preferred to Fiery Character despite the former posting a couple of modest efforts recently albeit in better company. Night Law won at Sandown last time and makes more appeal than Rosabelle though still needs to reverse earlier running with the selection to figure.
