In the claimer, we nominate Noora as the selection ahead of Beckenham's Secrets and Ranavalona. Dropped to this grade for the first time last time, Noora ran her best race for a while when third on Lingfield's all-weather. Clearly in good heart, her chance is there for all to see. Beckenham's Secret drops to this grade for the first time and has shown enough to warrant some thought as he steps up to this trip for the first time. Ranavalona comes into this race on the back of a fair third in a Ripon seller and she gets plenty of respect. A competitor for the places is Missie Baileys who, although she has a bit to find on ratings, has been running fairly well of late, the lightly-raced Diamond Key, who hasn't been disgraced in two handicap runs following a heavy-ground selling win, Investment Pearl, who appreciated the drop in class when third in a seller last time and who might be able to build on that today, the Paul Blockley-trained Irish import Jajoleen, Brian Meehan's first-time blinkered Rosie's Glory - who drops to this grade for the first time - and the Dai Burchell-trained winning hurdler, Princess Aimee, who wears a visor for the first time. Finally, quite obviously, based on his 2004 pomp, Perfect Storm would hold very good claims but we havent seen much of him of late and the market might provide your best guide with regard to his chance. Once again, then, the selection is Noora.
