Verdict
No Page showed plenty of promise on her debut but the Barry Hills-trained filly is not certain to appreciate the drop back to the minimum and preference is for the more experienced Chivola, with Hammadi rated the pick of the remainder. The selection has already had three starts but has shown a consistent level of form in those outings and, given the speed that he has shown, he should be suited by the drop back in trip. Tim Easterby's Hamish McGonagall can be expected to step up on his debut effort but needs to, while Not My Choice has shown ability in both starts and could be of interest for his new handler. Hammadi has similar claims and is another that should be suited by the drop back to the minimum trip but preference is for Chivola, who is taken to gain an overdue success.
