Verdict

Gary Moore has been amongst the winners recently and DUTCH GOLDEN AGE shouldn't lack fitness and was beaten less than a length by Volunteer Point at Kempton in December. The winner, who was receiving 5lb, is now rated 86 so the speedily-bred colt can defy his long absence. Cockney Island has been off even longer having finished almost last in the Two-Year-Old Trophy at Redcar last October. He'd justified his entry there with an excellent run in a very lucrative sales race at Doncaster and looks an obvious threat. Exentricity has guaranteed fitness on his side, though he ran poorly at Bath last time, while Pura Vida was staying on over 7f at Catterick so this shorter trip doesn't look in her favour. 7.40
