Verdict

Maria Magdalena carries penalties for her three victories and has also won on the Flat recently though her best run came last time when runner-up in a Wetherby Listed contest. George Ridsdale improved markedly on his debut effort to score at Musselburgh and looks the type to continue on the upgrade while Mr Chua, who has a fine pedigree for the Flat, made a very promising start in an Exeter bumper. SCORCHED EARTH makes his debut over timber in winning form having scored on the Flat at Roscommon in August for Ger Lyons. In receipt of 11lb from Maria Magdalena he can make a successful start for Dan Skelton. Hasankey had some decent form on the Flat for Dermot Weld and Laura Morgan can get the best out of him.
