Verdict
Fair Loch failed to cope with his new mark at Musselburgh after winning at Ayr and looks worth opposing again. Nine Altars hasn’t sparkled in either start over fences but won off this mark over hurdles and makes more appeal than Swaledale Lad, who only won a seller over timber at Market Rasen on Boxing Day. Captain Hox has only won a match so far over fences but A LITTLE MAGIC won well at Huntingdon last month and, providing there is no rain, Jonjo O’Neill’s improving six-year-old looks capable of following up. Indian Voyage and Domtaline are both fairly consistent but infrequent winners.
