In depth

Verdict

Caprice D'anglais has taken well to fences second time around and is chasing a hat-trick. He would have won at Huntingdon last time even had his nearest rival not fallen but has been raised 12lb since. BRINESTINE gets 12lb and his third at Ludlow was a decent first effort over fences - he gets the nod at the likely odds. Flashman is capable when in the mood but those occasions are becoming increasingly rare. Baraza was lightly raced over hurdles and may do better over the larger obstacles.
