Francky Du Berlais is potentially thrown in on his chase form but he’s not won over hurdles in almost three years and is still 14lb higher. Dallas Des Pictons could be another well treated on his best form over fences but Aramax makes more appeal having followed up a victory here in May with another at Uttoxeter last month. Hoganville has 18 lengths to find with Mr Yeats on Stratford running but the latter is getting no help from the handicapper and is struggling to get his head back in front. JUDICIAL LAW failed to land a blow when third over 2m6f here last month but the heavy going would not have suited. An earlier win over this trip at Huntingdon has worked out well so Jonjo O’Neill’s stayer deserves another chance. Our Sam is another who can’t be ruled out as he came right back to his best here last month.
