Verdict

Pateen won at Hexham in May and was second at Perth at the start of the month while For Three was a fair third at Southwell in April, though has reverted to type since. COEUR AIMANT returned from a year on the sidelines to finish runner-up on heavy going at Uttoxeter and, if that hasn’t emptied the tanks, he can go one better here ahead of the Perth second Solway Molly. Edmond Dantes, only beaten a head at Hexham following wind surgery, looks best of the rest but that was the first time he’d managed to place under NH Rules.
