Some familiar names in action here and Charlie Kennet and Otago are two to consider on current form. However we will take a chance with the eight-year-old Bucks. Dean Ivory's gelding was a most consistent performer last season and managed a couple of wins at Nottingham and Newmarket. He paid the price with a hike in the wights, but is is now back to a very handy mark and can step up on a promising seasonal debut. Otago hit winning form last time, beating stable companion Wilhego and although he may struggle to win under his penalty he should still be involved to some capacity. Charlie Kennet's chances are there for all to see as he has been most impressive in landing a hat-trick of victories. He keeps on defying the handicapper and should make his presence felt. So another wide open affair with Pre Eminence also worth a mention, but Bucks may be the one to land the spoils.
