Daggernought has shown enough in two races to date to suggest he can land this modest event, Go Figure and Mister Benedictine can follow him home. The John Hills trained colt started his career by running fifth behind Private Business at Goodwood, before chasing home Champara here over a slightly shorter trip. He was doing his best work at the end of that contest and he looks the best option here. Go Figure also has some useful experience including a recent third behind Stratham at Salisbury. The runner up in that contest ran well on Sunday so the form could be pretty decent. Mister Benedictine is the most exposed runner in the line up and has gone close on numerous occasions. Once again he should be there or thereabouts. Of the newcomers Ten Commandments catches the eye on pedigree and should be watched in the betting, however Daggernought is progressing nicely and gets the vote today.
