Verdict
Though no match for an easy winner at Newcastle earlier this month, there wasn’t much wrong with NAVAJO SPRING’s debut effort and he is well drawn to go one better here. Harswell Prince missed the break at Pontefract last week so is probably capable of better and he has the inside berth but Country Carnival stopped quickly when fourth at Newcastle. Of the newcomers, Avior Star may need a stiffer test of stamina but Conspiracy is speedily bred and a half-brother to two winners.
