Dallaglio roars 'We are as one'

Lawrence Dallaglio has denied suggestions of a lack of harmony in the England camp.

Lawrence Dallaglio has spoken out against the doubters of England's team spirit, claiming 'we are as one'.

England looked disorientated and disorganised as France ripped through them in Paris, leaving Dallaglio to contemplate an embarrassing 31-6 defeat as he trudged off the field.

Individual errors and a distinct lack of continuity defined the world champions' performance, which sparked Austin Healey to reveal tales of discontent in the camp.

However, former England captain Dallaglio insists everybody is pulling in the right direction, and he is eyeing Saturday's home clash with Ireland as the chance to repay the fans.

"I think it's an opportunity for us to show what we're about as a group," the Wasps number eight told Sky Sports News.

"We are as one, we are together, and while the ineptitude of our performance may not have demonstrated that last week, I can say - hand on heart - we are together in what we are trying to do."

Dallaglio also had comforting words for underfire coach Andy Robinson, who has lost half of the 14 Six Nations matches that he has been in charge for.

The 33-year-old feels it is the players that have let Robinson down after his consistent show of faith in them, and Dallaglio insisted: "He's the England coach and he's a very loyal man."
