Julian Huxley looks set to head to France after he was granted an early release from his contract with the Rebels.
The 32-year-old is poised to team up with ProD2 outfit Narbonne - coached by former Brumbies and Australia team-mate Justin Harrison - and had already been informed he would not be offered a deal for next season by the Melbourne franchise.
However his final match for the Rebels will now be against the Reds following negotiations with the outfit.
The match will also be Stirling Mortlock's last appearance, with the former Australia skipper retiring.
"It's crept up on me, the fact that this will be my last game in Australia," Huxley told
The Australian.
"I might get a bit emotional. I'm happy for the spotlight to be on Stirling. He can have it and he deserves it
"For a large part of my career I've been disappointed I haven't been a better player, but this is my 12th year of rugby and I guess I've been good enough to hang around that long."
