Coaching roles for Muggleton and Cockbain
Melbourne Rebels have confirmed John Muggleton and Matt Cockbain have joined the club's backroom staff ahead of the 2012 Super Rugby campaign.
Muggleton, who won four Bledisloe Cups, two Tri-Nations titles and the 1999 World Cup while Australia's defence coach, arrives at the Rebels after completing his commitments with Georgia.
Muggleton, who has also worked with the USA and Llanelli Scarlets and made his name playing rugby league, has been appointed as senior assistant coach.
Joining Muggleton as assistant coach will be Cockbain, who has been promoted to the senior set-up from the Rebel Rising coaching department.
Cockbain, who won 63 caps for the Wallabies, had been specifically working with the Melbourne University Rugby Club and the Victorian State Team.
