Signings boost for London Welsh

London Welsh have been handed a welcome boost ahead of their RFU Championship final second leg clash against the Cornish Pirates with news Alex Davies and Nick Scott have signed new deals. Davies has been in sensational form for the Exiles, scoring 300 points in 33 games since arriving from Plymouth Albion in the summer. Scott initially joined Welsh on loan from Bath in February, with the 21-year-old opening his try-scoring account against Nottingham in the play-off pool stages. London Welsh head coach Lyn Jones said: "I am delighted for both of them. They have deserved their chance to stay at London Welsh, applying themselves on and off the training field, enjoying and adding to the London Welsh culture and ethos. "Their performances on the field have grown throughout the season, where they have established themselves as first choices in our starting XV. "Greater challenges lay ahead for the two young fellas and I am confident they can make the step, with time and working diligently with the current coaching staff."
